The BioNatural Andean (Quillaja saponaria), is an ideal foaming agent, providing gentle cleansing action without damaging the skin. It can be used in myriad cleansing applications including shampoos, shaving creams, mousses, bubble baths, soaps and facial cleansers.

Derived from the Chilean word “quillean”, quillaja literally means “to wash.” Natives have long used the bark to cleanse delicate silk and wool garments that would otherwise be damaged by detergents. Quillaja is so gentle that it removes grease without stripping the hair or skin of its natural protective layer.
